Assignment in Tangible Interfaces. Fall 2018 @ MIT. Group project
We created TangiBox on the premise of being something physical that affords tangible communication across a distance. The original concept was to transfer the movement of one item to another entirely, but because of technical concerns, it is instead the movement of a small pellet that is transferred to the pellet in the other box - wirelessly and instantaneously.
Through touch and sound, presence is thus being communicated directly and intuitively between people with paired TangiBoxes.
